Analytics
Where your visits come from, what they arrived on, and how a view is counted.
What counts as a view
A visit counts once per device every 12 hours. Refreshing does not run the number up, and neither does someone leaving your page open.
Visits arriving over Tor or a commercial VPN are recorded but never counted. They are the shape a farmed view takes, and the honest number is the one worth showing.
The breakdowns
Your dashboard splits your visits referrer, country and device, and shows when they arrived.
There is no tracking script on your page. Everything here is read off the request that asked for it, which is also why the breakdowns are coarse rather than personal.
How far back it goes
How far back the dashboard lets you look depends on your plan.
Views older than 24 months are deleted, which is what our privacy policy promises rather than something it hopes for.
Hiding your count
Your view count can be hidden from your page. It is one switch under Settings, and it is thorough: the number disappears from your profile, from the JSON and from your README card.
