Everything is re-encoded to one format on the way in, so a track behaves the same on your page whatever you uploaded.

Importing by url

Paste a url and the importer fetches the audio, the title and the cover art together, so a track arrives named and illustrated rather than as audio_final_2.mp3.

Importing runs as a job in the background. You can leave the page while it works and the track is in your library when it finishes.

Import only what you have the right to use. The importer is a convenience, not a licence. A track that should not be on your page is your responsibility, and a report about one is answered by taking it down.

How it plays

Pick which track plays, and where in it to start. A song with a long intro can open on the part you actually want people to hear.

Shuffle needs more than one track in the library. Browsers will not start audio before a visitor has interacted with the page, so the player waits for the first click rather than fighting it.
